Magnesium-alumina-spinel, CerMag50
A high quality shaft-kiln produced sub-stoichiometric magnesia-alumina spinel, ensuring total logistical and quality control. Applications in the production of steel, cement and technical ceramics.
Produced from high temperature sintering of Bayer process calcined alumina together with especially selected magnesite.
Major phase identified by X-Ray Diffraction as magnesia-alumina spinel. CerMag 50 ensures complete control of chemistry and physical properties promoting complete control of the final ceramic system. Approximately 30% free Periclase.
