Magnesium-alumina-spinel, CerMag FS
Provisional Data Sheet March 1998
CerMag FS- Magnesia/Alumina Spinel
A high quality alumina-rich Spinel, produced by electrofusion of sea-water periclase and Bayer process calcined alumina, processed and micronised in the UK to ensure total logistical and quality control. Applications in the production of technical ceramics.
Major phases identified by X-Ray Diffraction as magnesia-alumina spinel. CerMag ensures complete control of the chemistry and physical properties promoting complete control of the final ceramic system. Zero free periclase.
