Automatic Crimping Machine Instructions

Our crimping tool for batteries can easily crimp the battery can to create a secure seal according to the specifications of the battery prototype.

A small table-top bench press is used to achieve pressure sufficient for crimping. However, the actual work is performed using push buttons, and there is a safety interlock switch which does not turn the power on unless the cell is properly seated on the side-type cell seat. This machine has another safety feature that even when the power is turned on accidentally, the mold does not come down. Safety is our first priority.

The bottom mold on the machine has a split-mold design for easy placement and removal of the work. This small crimping tool has a small foot print, and uses AC100V.
